Designed by Andreas M Hansen, the Q is the world’s first social camera. In today’s world we’re all about connecting and sharing no? This very hipster/cool/clever invention has amazing design aesthetics all round. From their advertising to the product itself and all its applications.

I particularly like the Q’s manifesto:

Financial Times joins Flipboard, says it’s a better deal than Apple

The Financial Times is now making its content available through Flipboard, the popular reading platform that lets users draw on their social networks to assemble content from a variety of publications or create their own magazine.

The partnership, which comes a year after a similar deal between Flipboard and the New York Times(s nyt), will grant full access to FT subscribers while casual visitors will be able to read a smattering of FT blog posts and cultural stories.

Rob Grimshaw, managing director of the FT.com, said by phone that the deal will involve the FT and Flipboard sharing advertising revenue, but would not disclose what the exact revenue split is. In the past, the ad splits have been a source of contention for some publishers, including Condé Nast, which pulled back its advertisements from titles like New Yorker and Wired. Everybody and their mother has attempted to create “Instagram for video,” and it’s possible Twitter is joining the club.

CEO Dick Costolo sent a tweet Wednesday morning that included a short video that auto-plays when you click to expand his tweet, raising some questions about the company’s intended future in relation to video:

Twitter only rolled out expanded tweets with viewable in-stream media in June 2012, but it’s already become a core part of the Twitter experience as the company moves further toward working with brands on advertising and marketing.
